shawn koch, pga director of instruction
In his fourth season at the Golf Learning Center at Country Club of the South, Shawn Koch has developed into one of Georgia PGA's premier golf instructors. The 2008 Georgia PGA North Chapter Teacher of the Year hs students ranging from beginner to touring professional. Shawn's expertise in video ananlysis, club fitting technology, and golf instruction on and off the golf course are attributed from the success of Golf Learning Center offers. Course management and tournament preparation separate Shawn from other instructors. He has had several outstanding accomplishments on the golf course in his career, including the 2006 Atlanta Open, 2008 Match Playing Championship, and the 2008 Griffin Classic.

david potts, PGA Apprentice junior golf leader
David Potts is the newest addition to the Golf Learning Center. David had been recognized by Golf Digest Magazine as one of the Top 15 teachers in the state. His work includes junior golf development programs, men's and ladies golf development clinic programs, as well as individual private instruction. David played collegiate golf at the University of Georgia. His good play earned him teh 2008 Georgia PGA Assistant Division Player of the Year. David will cultivate and lead the junior academy at Country Club of the South with his enthusiasm and experience.
